Woman Files Slip and Fall Suit against BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse

A woman recently filed a lawsuit in the County Harris District Court for too much wax. Maria Calvillo claims that she slipped and was injured at her local Webster BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse due to an accumulation of wax on the floor. The negligence of restaurant staff to clean up the waxy mess coupled with an absence of warning signs is the reason why she wound up needing surgery following her fall.

Represented by Houston attorney Stephen Boutros, the plaintiff is seeking damages for medical costs, past and future physical and mental pain, court costs, actual damages, and other damages that the court feels she is entitled to.

The defendant, the 515 W. Bay Area Boulevard location of Webster BJ's, will have to answer for her accident that occurred on December 8th, 2008.
