Motorcycle Accident Shuts Down Interstate

A motorcycle accident shut down one interstate for several hours last week after a young man lost his life.

According to officers in the state of Florida, the 28-year-old victim was riding a motorcycle westbound on the highway when he ran into the back of a van. The impact was severe enough to throw the rider from his bike and onto the pavement. Since the accident happened with such speed, one car was observed running over his body. Now, that person is wanted by local law enforcement because he/she did not stop after the collision.

The interstate was shut down for several hours while emergency crews cleaned up the wreckage and deputies investigated the scene.
