Bicyclist Seriously Injured during Collision

A woman reportedly sent a man to the hospital in serious condition when her vehicle struck the bicyclist. Both car and bike were traveling down a highway in a straight line. The woman claims that she was unable to see the cyclist as a result of sun glare. Her claims aside, the woman was charged with overtaking and improperly passing a bicycle. Authorities who are investigating the accident have determined that it was not alcohol related.

The middle-aged cyclist was taken to the hospital after the woman ran her car into the back of his bike on a highway. The man was ejected from his bicycle at a high speed, and his injuries were considered quite serious. The accident also caused about $1000 in damage to the woman's car.
