Two Passengers Killed in Auto Accident

Yet another car winds up in the front yard of a Palm Bay home, this time killing its two passengers.

According to the Palm Bay Police Department, the Chevy Camaro was heading North on Nevada Drive when it went off the road, hit a tree and, going airborne, drove through the front of a single-story home. At this time, police do not yet know the cause of the crash, only that the two female passengers lost their lives. Since the home on the 1000 block was not on a curved road, police believe that speed was the primary factor. The vehicle is believed to have been traveling at 70 mph in a 30 mph speed zone.

Medical reports show that one woman was thrown from the vehicle and then trapped underneath it, while the other was trapped inside the car as it caught on fire. Luckily, none of the house's residents were injured in the car accident. Officers are waiting for the results of a toxicology exam on both women.
