22 Year Old Becomes Auto Accident Victim

In Largo, Florida, a woman from the city of St. Petersburg was killed this week during a single vehicle car accident.  Police later identified the woman as 22 year old Jessica Lynn Guarino.

According to officers, Guarino was driving an Isuzu Rodeo SUV and traveling southbound on US 19 when she suddenly lost control of her car.  She then struck a concrete barrier and a light pole which led to her being ejected from the SUV.   Police arrived and pronounced her dead at the scene of the accident.

The light pole fell into the northbound lanes after being hit and crashed into two vehicles.  The cars, however, sustained minimal damage and no one was injured.  Police had to close all of US 19 for several hours following the accident.

At this time, police are asking that anyone who witnessed the collision contact them immediately.
