Department Store Being Sued for Slip and Fall

Another department store is being sued for a slip and fall accident, this time it is Dillard's in Harris County.

Jo Anna Manz and Joe Manz have filed a suit against Roger Evans and Dillard's Department stores stating that she slipped and fell on clear, wet wax that had been placed on the floor where she worked. The Estee Lauder employee went on to say that there were no warning signs placed near the wax to inform others about the danger.

She had been setting up a display for Estee Lauder when she injured herself on May 16, 2010. However she didn't file her lawsuit until Valentine's Day of this year in the Harris County District Court.

At this time the plaintiffs are asking for court costs and actual damages.
