Auto Accident Kills Two People

Two people lost their lives last week in an auto accident in St. John's County.

According to the police report, the 40-year-old driver and 39-year-old passenger were heading north on a major interstate when they rear-ended the SUV in front of them. The driver was unable to regain control of his pickup truck which spun around several times and overturned before ejecting both victims.

The driver was pronounced dead at the scene while his passenger was brought to a nearby hospital. He lost his life shortly after due to massive internal injuries. Luckily, the driver of the second vehicle was not injured in the auto accident.

Traffic was slowed for several hours as police officers and emergency road crews worked to clear the scene of the auto accident.
