Dead Motorcyclist was Convicted Killer

Recently, the Walpole Times learned that the motorcyclist that was killed in a crash on Robbins Road was also a convicted murderer.

At this time, the investigation for the motorcycle accident is still ongoing, but Walpole police believe that the victim, 44 year old Anthony Critsley, was speeding and driving under the influence when he slammed into the back of a sedan that was pulling out of a driveway at 5:15 PM.

After the collision, Critsley was thrown from his Harley Davidson motorcycle directly into the street and pronounced dead after emergency response crews arrived at the scene.  No one else was injured during the crash.

A background check on Critsley revealed that he pled guilty to second-degree murder in 1989 in the state of Florida.   It is alleged that he shot a man by the name of Fred Parker with a shotgun during a robbery in 1987.
