Five Killed during Single Car Crash

This week, it was reported that five adult members of the family passed away during a single car accident while they were on their way home from a family reunion. In addition to the deaths, four suffered child injuries and had to be taken to a local hospital said the Florida Highway Patrol.

The auto accident took place at 11:00 PM on Interstate 95 which is between Jacksonville and Daytona Beach. Police say the SUV was traveling south in the middle lane of the intersection when a rear left higher blew and 18-year-old Hugo Campos-Leon, the driver, lost control of the vehicle.

The SUV exited the road and crashed into several trees before it rolled over onto its right side. Officers say that only the driver and the passenger in the right front seat had been wearing seat belts. The other passengers were ejected from the vehicle.
